Nice room, much better than motel 6 off oak Street in Bakersfield. Paid 30 dollar cash deposit this time instead of using credit card like I did at the other motel 6. They have a locked gate that you have to have a pin code for. Not very inviting, but I felt like my truck was safer. Few years ago I stayed at a nicer hotel in Bakersfield and my truck was almost stolen.....they broke into it and tried to punch the ignition...Anyway, the room is pretty big, and king sized bed and a kitchenette with a great working fridge and freezer. Cable TV. The parking lot is a little dirty, and the pool isn't filled, and the rooms could be mopped once in awhile, but what do you expect for a 69 dollar a night room. I got good sleep once the other guests turned off their music. And even though there were alot of people smoking around us, our room didnt smell bad. Overall, id stay here again. Thanks for a nice stay
One of my favorite places to stay here in Bakersfield Ca south end of town. Very clean very updated safe and secure it's gated rooms are spacious comfortable. I recommend this hotel out of the rest in the surrounding area. I highly recommend to choose this location I give them 2 thumbs up 5 stars in every category. The owners are very friendly and inviting every time they greet you with a smile and make you feel at home love it here at the Studio 6 south location choose it you will be happy you did.
Booked last minute and was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were upgraded and clean. AC was working and had hot water for a nice shower after such a long drive. Check in process was easy and they offered to take card or cash for a refundable $30 deposit. Location slightly sketchy looking but honestly not that bad. Plus they had a gate with a pin code surrounding the whole parking lot/room area itself. Cameras were also in the halls and pointed at some parts of the lots as well. I just parked in front of a camera and went to bed soundly.
Very clean and comfortable. Unsure about the area because we haven't been to Bakersfield in over 30 years however we felt very safe here and the staff was wonderful.
Employee's are so friendly and very accommodating. The room was clean, a.c. worked so good, bed was comfortable, no bugs, refrigerator was clean worked great and so did the microwave. Prices are the best in town. Definitely we're I will be staying again.

The hotel seemed like a good value for the price I paid. The location is pretty good, most things like the Mall or Walmart were only about a 5-10 minute drive. We had to get new room keys pretty much every day because they would stop working. Besides that though, the room seemed really nice and AC worked perfectly.
Honestly best place in town I have stayed in many hotel locations due to my work the accommodations they provide the good costumer service that you get there iis never negative. The rooms are super clean well taken care of the aesthetics always pleasing and appreciated. I have never had a bad moment unhappy stay there I recommend this hotel over all even the fancy well known name ones have disappointed me so save your money on paying more for what you dnt get come see for yourself get the best for your buck,!!;)
